About

I am an educator, speaker, and international advisor on education in the arts to non-profits and educational sectors.  I graduated from New College of Florida.  My thesis, entitled "From Stories to Dialogue: The Student's Path to Freedom" was published in 2007, highlighting the intrinsic relationship between today's teacher, student, and the love of learning process.

I have worked with the Himalayan Trust Foundation as an educator and advisor for the Pangboche School in Khumbu, Nepal.  I was Assistant Professor of Buddhist Studies and Philosophy at Wat Suan Dok's Buddhist University (MCU) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  My work in child development inspired me to teach children with special needs both overseas and in the States. I worked as a lead preschool teacher at Chabad of Sarasota, Florida that led to the birth of "Under the Grapevine," an educational program fostering individual growth and cultural awareness.

In 2010, I relocated to California to delve deeper into holistic education at the "Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training," an internationally recognized program in Waldorf teaching.  My pedagogical studies include Waldorf education, the Reggio Emilia Approach, Montessori education, and Buddhist education.

Throughout my travels in under-developed and developed countries, I educate to nurture all children toward a healthy and enriching development.  My life's work is to continue to nourish and achieve the current state of our public school system.
